Sigo en mi búsqueda de un cuadro decente, y bueno, como todo, barato no hay nada, usado por eBay me da cosa así que tiene que ser nuevo, lo cual reduce aún más el espectro.
Sé que en Uruguay no hay muchas Niner, pero que opinión les merece este cuadro de aluminio Niner 9 Air? Niner Air 9 Frame
Por lo que estuve leyendo es una marca reconocida y la versión de carbono siempre saca buenos reviews, aunque de la de aluminio no encontré mucha cosa.

Niner Air 9 Frame
When Niner set out to design an aluminum version of their highly praised and World Cup tested Air 9, they didn’t settle for mediocrity when it came to the quality of alloy. Knowing that any sort of compromise in frame material would do injustice to the proven geometry, Niner shaped the Air 9 using high end hydroformed alloy that benefits from the same decade of refinement and testing as its carbon fiber siblings.
To make Niner’s most economical cross-country race-frame both lighter and faster, this upgraded version integrates Niner's hydroformed tubing throughout. More than just a chic technology marketing term, hydroforming allows Niner to shape and hinder the tubes for optimized strength and stiffness in key areas, giving the ability to create beautifully tuned frames with precise ride characteristics. Hydroforming is found in the top tube, downtube, headtube, chainstays and seatstays, equating to an overall much lighter and stiffer ride feel that promotes more precise steering and a snappier power transfer. The rigid sides of the signature downtube and top tube shapes maximize torsional stiffness, with buttery smooth ride quality achieved through the flat sections on each tube, which act like leaf springs.
The Air 9 features a tapered headtube with an integrated headset. By allowing the use of the newest generation of 1.5” tapered steerer suspension forks and integrated headset, Niner creates the stiffest front end possible – leading to amazing steering precision as you carve corners and descend with confidence. Should you find yourself mashing the “I wish I had a little bit more travel” button; like a genie in a lamp, Niner has granted that wish by designing the new Air 9 to accommodate forks with up to 120mm of travel.
Employing a Pressfit 30 standard bottom bracket, the Air 9 perfectly mates its larger aluminum down tube with the larger BB shell to further optimize power efficiency, while allowing lighter, stiffer cranksets to be used. The new version of the Air 9 features a 12 x 142 rear drop out spacing with Maxle to maximize rear triangle stiffness, and allow easier maintenance.

Este cuadro de carbono Tomac "Lone Mesa" con descuento queda en USD 660 puesto en USA (en USA no aplican taxes para compras en el exterior de hasta USD 800 desde el 10 de marzo de 2016), el tema es que no encuentro reviews en la vuelta y eso siempre genera desconfianza :/

Bueno, al final compré la Niner Air 9 en talle L y color Slate/Niner Red, me llega a finales de Abril, me la voy a armar con XT 1x11 y unas ruedas Mavic Crossroc, me falta la horquilla y alguna cosa mas, para Junio espero tener todas las piezas

Si, me lo traen al cuadro y a las ruedas, ya tengo los frenos y parte de la transmisión. En Jenson compré el cuadro, viene con una tarjeta de USD 100 que pienso usar para comprar avance, manubrio, caño de asiento originales Niner que estan en oferta. La horquilla estoy viendo tranqui en eBay, Jenson, etc... Niner arma las "entry level" con Rockshox Reba RL de 120mm, ya en tope de gama mete las RS-1 de 100mm, un despelote ya eso

Y bue, capaz que es cosa de pedir "adelantos" de regalos, cumpleaños, día del padre, día del amigo, etc...Con una SID o una fox factory queda hecha un polvo esa bici

Estoy casi decidido por una Rockshox SID XX de 100mm, modelo 2016 con eje Maxle Lite de 15mm, viene con bloqueo remoto hidráulico PushLoc, kit de mantenimiento e inflador. Es un poco más cara que la Reba pero tengo un descuento de USD 100 en Jenson.
Estuve viendo alguna Fox también, pero se iban demasiado de precio las Float 32 con Kashima, y por lo que leí en reviews, para un uso normal (no Racing) no tiene mucho sentido los USD 200 de diferencia.
Si alguien tiene experiencia en esta horquilla me gustaría saber sus opiniones. Aclaro que no es el modelo World Cup, es el SID XX a secas.

Al final no eran truchos esos cuadros y bicis Tomac de Panet-x, son licenciadas por el por John Tomac, en fin, de todas maneras pocos reviews
